It picks up right after the Season 5 Final, where the hydrogen detonates with Juliet next to it. Flashbacks show a surprising version of the original Flight 815.

The sixth and final season premiered on February 2, 2010, with a two-hour premiere preceded by a one-hour clip show. The show continued from February 9, 2010 at its new time slot of Tuesdays at 9 p.m. with a total of 18 episodes airing in 16 broadcasts, and ended with a four-and-a-half hour series finale on Sunday May 23, 2010. The finale began with a two-hour recap special, and continued with the two-and-a-half hour final episode. This aired in Ireland on RTÉ Two on Monday May 24, 2010 after a last-minute decision to bring the showing forward by three days “in the interest of Lost’s loyal audiences who followed all 6 series on RTÉ Two”. This season introduced “flash-sideways.” It represents a world created by the collective minds of the Oceanic 815 survivors for their souls to find one another in the afterlife, as revealed in the final
